Head of the River 2023

Our St Catherine's rowers performed excellently at the Head of the River on Saturday 18 March. The St Catherine's team consisted of 75 girls from Years 8-12 and finished fourth overall on the points table with an amazing four gold and two bronze medals. Our talented Year 8 rowers won gold in the Year 8 Division 1 and 2 Quads, with both crews undefeated throughout the rowing season in their respective races. In the last race of the day, our Schoolgirl 1st VIII made history, winning gold in a record-breaking time of 6:37. You can view the final moments of the 1st VIII winning their race here. Our 1st VIII girls will fly to Perth this Sunday 26 March to compete in the Australian Rowing Championships next week. Great work girls!
